Hey all!! just got back from Germany yesterday! it was the single best holiday of my life!!! i went with a group of disabled people like me. we went all over to loads of towns including the area where the brothers grimm came from. some of the buildings in these towns where hundreds of years old and apparently looked exactly as they always had done. i was wasted on German beer more or less every night and even had a go at flighing a four man aeroplane!!! i couldnt believe it! i was next to the pilot who's name i forget and we where almost level with the clouds when all of a sudden he turns to me and says" you want a go?". i thought he was joking at first. he didnt even seem to mind the fact id had a few beer. not that i was wasted or anything like that though. so i flew up above the clouds the dived down and turned round at the same time. i used to have a fear of hights but somehow i think thats gone now......

well it would seem that if there is a god that he just cant stop fuckin with me!!!! my byopsy that they took from my now only foot has come back saying that it isnt cancer but its a type ofcells tha if left could become cancer so in the new year im off back to hospital for 3 weeks of bed rest, since seen as its in my only remaining leg i'll have trouble with a lot of things and wouldnt manange at home!
i dunno, i couldnt make up this stuff really.......

well that was fun....i was only in for 5 days!!! i feel a bit weird now im back home though and im having to adjust to things with only one leg. im not too sure how its going to be yet though cos ive only been back a few hours...
my stump is still quite painful and im really tired cos i could hardly sleep due to having 5 other guys in my room that all snored im glad they let me home when they did cos they were all starting to drive me mad!!
i would have been home a few days ago but i had to stay in a few extra days whilst they did an extra monor op under a local anestetic. they found a weird looking mole on the sole off my other foot which they had to do a byopsy on to make sure it wasnt cancer!! cos it was the only foot i have left the minor op made moving around on crutches a bit hard so i stayed in longer..i still havent had any results though. i just hope its not serious!!
im sure it wont be, time to start thinking positively!!

hmmm ive now know when i will be going into hospital for my op...its the 26th of this month which is kinda sort notice but screw it! im just glad i know when it will be now! i reckon the op itself will probably be on the 27th though. now im pretty damn nervious but im also pretty glad things are finally in motion...

well ive been to the hospital and now it looks like my op will be in either october or november which is good i guess. the doctor thinks that the infection must have reached the bones in my foot by now which is pretty bad cos that tends to mean that they have to do it before it spreads up my leg. the other thing that the doctor did say that put my mind at rest a bit was that he thinks i'll be in hospital less than the standard 2 weeks. this he says is cos most of that time would be spent teaching me how to use crutches. ive been on mine for nearly 12 years so no problems there
